2013 Philly Geek Award Winners #PHLGeekAwards

Dr. Frank Lee, an associate professor in the Westphal College of Media Arts & Design and director of the Entrepreneurial Game Studio, won the “Geek Story of the Year” and “Hacker of the Year” awards at the 2013 Philly Geek Awards hosted at the Academy of Natural Sciences August 17. Greg Lobanov, a senior in the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design, won “Indie Game of the Year.” Jill Sybesma, adult programs manager at the Academy of Natural Sciences, was interviewed about the ceremony in an August 17 WHYY-FM/Newsworks.org story that listed all of the winners. The winners were mentioned in an August 18 Technically Philly article, an August 19 Geekadelphia recap, and an August 18 philly.com article.
