Dr. Michael Weingarten, a professor in the College of Medicine, was quoted in an August 1 Philadelphia Business Journal, KYW-TV (CBS-3) and MedCity News story about a device developed by Dr. Peter Lewin and Dr. Leonid Zubkov, professors in the School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems, and graduate students Joshua Samuels, Chris Baweic and Youhan Sunny, that uses ultrasound to help chronic wounds heal more quickly.
