Drexel was mentioned in a New York Times article on April 2 about the Philadelphia-based venture firm First Round Capital’s Dorm Room Fund that has given $500,000 to an 11-member investment team of college students from Drexel University and the University of Pennsylvania to create student-led start-ups. The story was also highlighted on a Philadelphia magazine blog.
