Dr. Av Edidin, a research associate professor in the School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems, was mentioned in an April 22 Orthopedics This Week story about the FDA granting an investigational device exemption approval for the continuation of the SMART Clinical Trial led by Relievant Systems, Inc. Edidin was recently named the chief scientific officer and vice president of research and development at Relievant.
