Donation Helps Launch New Autism Research Center at Drexel

Dr. Craig Newschaffer, professor and chair of the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics in the School of Public Health, was quoted in a story on WHYY-FM and Newsworks.org, about the A.J. Drexel Autism Institute. Newschaffer will lead the Institute, which is the nation’s first autism center focused on public health science and recently received a gift of $1.5 million from the Charles and Barbara Close Foundation.
