Best Sciences Pictures of 2011

Babak Anasori, a Ph.D. student in the College of Engineering, was quoted in National Geographic about his 2-D photograph, “Frontier.” The photo was featured in the Best Science Pictures of 2011 competition sponsored by the journal Science and the National Science Foundation. Dr. Michel Barsoum and Dr. Yury Gogotsi, professors in the College of Engineering, were also mentioned.
