The Coolest Philadelphia Geeks Recognized Friday Night At The Academy

The Philadelphia Geek Awards, held at the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University, were featured on KYW Newsradio (1060-AM), KYW-TV (CBS-3), WPVI-TV (6-abc), WTXF-TV (FOX-29) and WPSG-TV (CW-57). Dr. Youngmoo Kim, an associate professor and assistant dean of MediaTechnologies in the College of Engineering, won the “Scientist of the Year” award. Dr. R. Andrew Hicks, a professor in the College of Arts and Sciences, was also nominated in the category.
