Canceled Toy Run May See a Miracle

Drexel was mentioned in morning news broadcasts by WCAU-TV (NBC-10) and WPVI-TV (6-abc) as a partner with Mayor Nutter and U.S. Congressman Bob Brady to maintain this year’s Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Toy Run. The annual toy drive, run by the Delaware Valley chapter of the Alliance of Bikers Aimed Towards Education (ABATE), was in jeopardy of being cancelled due to storage and traffic concerns at CHOP.
