Michelle Tarbutton
Assistant Teaching Professor
Tarbutton is a seasoned cybersecurity and computer forensics professional and educator. She is a Certified Ethical Hacker and Computer Hacking Forensics Investigator, in addition to holding a number of other certifications in cybersecurity and computer forensics. As part of the College of Computing & Informatics’ cybersecurity faculty, Tarbutton is adept at breaking down the complexities of cybersecurity technology and new strategies for building resilience against cyberattacks.
Prior to her time in the industry, Tarbutton earned an MS from Drexel’s cybersecurity program and served as captain of the school’s cybersecurity team, the Drexel CyberDragons, who took 4th place at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition.
