Drexel Awarded on the Forbes Best-in-Pennsylvania Employers 2022 List
Drexel University has been awarded on the Forbes list of Best Employers by State 2022, ranked No. 35 out of the top 100 best employers in Pennsylvania. This prestigious award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider, and is based on an independent survey of approximately 70,000 Americans working for companies with more than 500 employees in the United States.
“This award is truly an honor, as Drexel University strives to be one of the best places to work in Philadelphia, in Pennsylvania and in the country,” said Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Megan Weyler. “We are proud to be recognized for our efforts to prioritize the growth, development and well-being of our faculty and professional staff through a comprehensive benefits package, including free tuition for employees and their dependents, Drexel’s unique commitment to civic engagement, our award-winning wellness program and a strong commitment to equity, inclusion and belonging.”
The evaluation for Forbes’ ranking was based on direct and indirect recommendations from employees who were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own employers to friends and family. Employees were also asked to evaluate other employers in their respective industry and state that stood out either positively or negatively. Across 25 industry sectors, 1,380 employer brands were ranked among the top employers for 2022.
