According to a recent study, led by Evan Forman, PhD, a psychology professor in Drexel University's College of Arts and Sciences, a first-of-its-kind smartphone app called OnTrack can predict ahead of time when users are likely to lapse in their weight loss plan and help them stay on track.
50 Years After It Was Recorded, Drexel's Student Record Label Helps Philly Band Release Its Album

Nat Turner Rebellion was an up-and-coming band in the golden age of Philadelphia soul music. They opened for the chart-topping Delfonics. They had a hit-making agent, signed with a renowned record label and recorded enough tracks for an album. Then it all fell apart. Now, some 50 years later, the un-released album will be making its debut on Drexel University’s student-run MAD Dragon Records label.
New Plastic Bag Recycling Bins Provided on Campus

The Robert and Penny Fox Historic Costume Collection (FHCC) of Drexel University’s Westphal College of Media Arts & Design will present a retrospective exhibition highlighting work by renowned fashion designer Nicole Miller. The exhibition A Philadelphia Store-y: 25 Years of Nicole Miller Philadelphia (April 12-August 30, 2019) will pay tribute to the retailer’s contributions to fashion and philanthropy in the city.

Merck & Co., Inc. Chairman and CEO Kenneth C. Frazier will address the class of 2019 at Drexel’s University-wide commencement ceremony on June 14. In what has become a Drexel tradition, the University will once again hold its University-wide ceremony at Citizens Bank Park. Frazier’s contributions in the business, legal and humanitarian fields are especially notable.
