Drexel University’s Department of Public Safety recently refreshed its website organization, content and look to make it easier for members of the University community to find important safety information, tips, resources and forms. Here are a few of the key improvements and additions to the site:

Patrol Boundaries:Familiarize yourself with Drexel’s policing and security services, and view our new and improved patrol boundary maps for all three Philadelphia campuses.
Connect with Public Safety: Have a crime tip? Want to commend a Public Safety officer? Taking students on a trip? Public Safety wants to hear from you! Check out the new “Submit a Report or Request” section for online forms and contact information.
Get the Alerts and App: Did you know Drexel is the only university in the world with a communications center accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies? Make sure your contact information is up-to-date with DrexelAlert and get the Drexel Guardian app in the new “Communications & Operations” section.
Protection of Minors: Information and requirements about the protection of minors is now easier to find with its own section of the website.
Be Prepared:The “Fire & Emergency Services” section has a wealth of information to prepare you for fire, medical and other potential emergencies.
Prevention Programs: Did you know you can register your bike or computer with Public Safety? Or take a self-defense course?
Be Informed: The “Crime Reports & Prevention” section houses the latest Campus Safety Notices, the daily Crime Log, the Annual Security Report, and key information about Clery Act reporting requirements and the role of a Campus Security Authority.
Emergency Numbers: It’s hard to miss that red header field on the “Emergency Numbers” box peppered throughout the site. Bookmark this page and save these important numbers in your phone.
