Final 30th Street Station District Plan Open House
Amtrak, Drexel and its partners will hold the final 30th Street Station District Plan Open House on Wednesday, May 18, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., in the North Waiting Room at 30th Street Station.
Attendees will be invited to review the Draft District Plan, which serves as the culmination of ideas generated from four previous open house events and stakeholder feedback gathered from surveys, comments and committees.
This is the final opportunity for the public to review and comment on the Draft District Plan, which will present a vision for the 30th Street Station District for the next 25 years and beyond.
The public can also learn more about the project by visiting the project website, www.PhillyDistrict30.com for more information, newsletter opportunities, news coverage and more.
The Philadelphia 30th Street Station District Plan is long-range joint master planning effort led by Amtrak, Brandywine Realty Trust, Drexel University, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority, with support from a host of public and private agencies. The goal is to develop a comprehensive vision for the year 2040 that places 30th Street Station at the epicenter of a dynamic, urban neighborhood full of opportunities for community development, economic growth and improved transportation connections.
