Kami has an option for everyone, from bulgogi beef with udon noodles to vegetable bibimbap with multigrain rice. This is one truck you definitely don’t want to miss, and couldn’t even if you tried! It's located at the corner of Buckley Field, right across the street from a plethora of brand new picnic tables where you can sit and enjoy your lunch.

RANCH ROAD TACO SHOP

What you’ll find: There’s no better place to satisfy your taco craving than this small food cart in University City. Ranch Road Taco Shop offers a variety of options, from burritos to rice and beans and other specialties. The ingredients are always fresh, the hot sauces homemade and the avocado pitted and sliced to order. Meaghan, the owner, is very friendly and will happily customize an order for you. We recommend the burritos — they can’t be beat!
Favorite dish: Steak burrito with The Green and The Ugly hot sauces.

STREET FOOD PHILLY

Cuisine: Everything! Their menu never seems to be the same twice.
What you’ll find: Talk about variety! This truck has everything. On a common day, you could find anything from burgers to empanadas to fried mac and cheese. The menu may constantly be changing, but the quality of the food is always consistently delicious. Local favorites include the hot roast beef po’ boy and the truffle parm fries (amazing!). The service is friendly and very efficient, serving up your food hot and ready with a smile.

CUCINA ZAPATA

What you’ll find: This University City staple is owned and run by Robert Zapata, one of Drexel’s fabulous alums, so you know this place has to be good! Cucina Zapata can be easily identified by its colorful graffiti design and the crowd of eager customers on the sidewalk beside it. The grouping of Mexican and Thai cuisine is certainly not typical, but this truck pulls it off beautifully with bold and unique flavor combinations that are sure to please.

SPOT GOURMET BURGERS

What you’ll find: It is unbelievable that so much flavor could be packed into such a small cart. SpOt Burger consistently serves some of the best burgers in the Philadelphia area, widely regarded as on par with predominant names such as Shake Shack and PYT. The craftsmanship that goes into each menu item will become apparent when you take your first bite. This truck can be spotted (pun completely intended) outside the Drexel Recreation Center at 33rd and Market streets, open for lunch daily.
