Introducing Drexel Central
The University is developing Drexel Central, a one-stop location for students and families to receive answers to all billing, financial aid and registration inquiries. Drexel Central will streamline the services currently being offered through the offices of the Bursar, Financial Aid/Student Resource Center and the University Registrar into one comprehensive department.
Drexel is committed to providing the best service possible to students and their families, so that every aspect of the Drexel experience is as pleasant and productive as it can be. The University’s new strategic plan, “Transforming the Modern Urban University,” calls for better integration of administrative services for students across all programs and campuses.
Drexel Central will be located in the Main Building, Rooms 105 and 106. Renovation of this space began in late January, and Drexel Central is expected to open for service in early July. Effective January 23, Bursar Office Representatives, formerly located in Suite 105, Main Building, are temporarily relocated to Room 222, Main Building. Cashiering services are now located in Room 010, Main Building.
Under the leadership of Amy Bosio, vice president for financial planning and student financial services, the Drexel Central team has established its mission—to deliver superlative customer service that enhances the student experience and encourages students to achieve their educational goals—and identified core values including accountability, accuracy, effectiveness, empowerment, integrity and professionalism. They also have recruited a Drexel Central Student Advisory Board and will be conducting a survey of students and their families to gather input that will drive the development of the critical services to be offered by Drexel Central.
