Drexel University mourns the loss of alumnus Christopher Mosko, 28, a U.S. Navy lieutenant who was killed in Afghanistan on Thursday, April 26. Mosko graduated in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in commerce and engineering from Drexel’s LeBow College of Business. Mosko is a beloved husband, son and friend, and is being remembered fondly by his loved ones for his compassion, loyalty and winning smile.

When Mosko started as a freshman at Drexel in 2002, he enrolled in the Navy ROTC program at the University of Pennsylvania with his roommate, Chase Derbin. It was there that Mosko met good friend Andrew Petry
