Despite 27 victories, the men's basketball team was snubbed by the NCAA selection committee on Sunday night. The Dragons will instead host Central Florida at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday night in the First Round of the 2012 National Invitation Tournament at the Daskalakis Athletic Center.
The Dragons (27-6) will host the Knights (22-10) in a game that can be seen live on ESPN3. Central Florida finished third in the Conference USA standings, with their biggest wins coming against the University of Connecticut and Memphis.
