Earth Day 2022: SALURBAL Releases New Climate Brief

As we commemorate Earth Day 2022, we face increasingly urgent warnings about the health impacts of climate change and our narrowing window for mitigation action. In this context, the SALURBAL team is shifting attention toward the impacts of climate change on health and health equity.
The most recent SALURBAL policy brief, “Climate Change and Urban Health,” describes what we know about current and projected health impacts of climate change, what some cities in Latin America are doing to maximize the co-benefits of climate action, and what urban policymakers and public health researchers can do to support effective urban policies and interventions.
