Announcing the Launch of the New LAC-Urban Health Website

March 1, 2018

After months of hard work, we are excited to officially announce the launch of the new website for the Urban Health Network for Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC-Urban Health). You can visit the LAC-Urban Health website at lacurbanhealth.org.

The goal of the new LAC-Urban Health website is to share research results, explore training and collaboration opportunities with its more than 75 members across 17 diverse countries. The new website builds on LAC-Urban Health’s nine guiding principles and enables the Network to make its foundational aims a reality. As you review and use this new website, you will find new features that provide LAC-Urban Health members with access to:

  • Events and workshops
  • Recent news and research updates from LAC-Urban Health
  • Regular postings of new resources — from policy and research briefs to training and collaboration opportunities

The LAC-Urban Health website will be updated regularly with blog posts, member profiles, current research and special announcements. Stay up to date with the latest LAC-Urban Health news by checking the website on a regular basis.

LAC-Urban Health brings together researchers, practitioners and policymakers to improve health in the cities of Latin America and the Caribbean. Convened by the Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health in September 2015, the network was co-founded by the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean and the United Nations University.
