Initiatives
A representative group of faculty and staff has developed an Annual Program Review (APR) process that has replaced the old program review process. APR features standardized program metrics within two complimentary dashboards. The idea of a "Program Health Dashboard" is not new as it surfaced in the Academic Resource Planning sub-committee of the Pre-Planning work for the current strategic plan. That idea set the foundation for the current process and plan. The goals of APR are 1) to provide transparent metrics and benchmarks to drive data-driven decision making and continuous improvement and 2) to be flexible enough to remain a meaningful and relevant process. APR is currently conducting the Second Cycle.
Annual Program Review
The Annual Program Review process was developed by a representative group of faculty and staff who created and refined two complimentary dashboards which provide data and context for program performance year to year. This iterative process focuses on continuous improvement through reporting and data supported decision making within programs, colleges and the university as a whole.
Campus Surveys
IRAA facilitates centrally administered surveys to different populations of students on campus. This information helps to support decision making within the both the academic and co-curricular offices on campus. The processes and instruments can be found here as well as information about how to plan and create a survey.
