To the 2023 Graduates of CNHP
Congratulations to the Class of 2023. It is my honor to congratulate you and celebrate your important achievements this year.
Many of you navigated the halls, classrooms, and labs of the new Health Sciences building this year. Many of you made discoveries in the kitchens and classrooms in the Academic Building while many completed your programs online. But all of you are graduating from the College of Nursing and Health Professions with something in common: purpose, ambition and integrity. As you step into new opportunities that your education affords you, we hope you do so looking through the lens of social justice.
We are proud of you, Class of 2023. What you’ve accomplished here and how ready you are to set new standards and create new models of care and service. You are leaders who make this world a better place, especially for the most vulnerable populations we serve.
Your graduation marks an important shift from student to alumni. You have changed the University for the better. Your voices, actions, and impact will remain rooted in this College and at Drexel for decades to come. I encourage you to take that strong advocacy and apply it across the many professions that you will soon represent.
You arrived with intellect and ambition and graduate as agents of change who are positively shaping health outcomes for the diverse communities across Philadelphia and the world. I look forward to standing beside you, as your colleague, as we seek to make meaningful progress in care, research, and service. You will always find that the College of Nursing and Health Professions will support and believe in you.
Congratulations, graduates!
All my best wishes for your bright future,
Ann Branchini, PhD
Interim Dean
