A Message from Dean Yi Deng, PhD

On behalf of College of Computing & Informatics’ (CCI) faculty and professional staff, I would like to extend my most sincere congratulations to the Class of 2022.

Commencement not only marks the culmination of your time at Drexel and the conferral of your degrees but also provides a chance for us to recognize your incredible accomplishments.

Despite all odds — especially the challenges and losses brought by a global pandemic — you persevered and achieved your goals. I am continually inspired by your resilience and determination, and I am certain the skills that you gained during this unpredictable time will serve you well in your future careers.

You are entering the workforce during a time of record growth for information science and technology. With your degree from Drexel University in hand, I have no doubt that each of you will continue pushing the boundaries of what is possible through technological innovation.

We look forward to celebrating your achievements on June 9!

Sincerely,

Yi Deng, PhD
