July 11, 2024
Drexel's Department of Global Studies and Modern Languages prepares students to see the world differently. Graduates of the program go on to build exciting and diverse careers around the world in a wide range of fields, from government and policy, to business and economics, to cultural and nonprofit organizations.
A new podcast series, "On the Map," reconnects with alumni from the department (which was previously known as International Area Studies) as they share more about their career journeys and reflect on their time at Drexel.
The first episode is out now and features Jared Keenan, BA international area studies '04, who currently serves as the Legal Director of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Arizona. In this role, Keenan focuses on core civil rights and civil liberties issues including criminal legal reform, education equity, LGBTQ+ equality and immigrants’ rights in both state and federal court.
Join us as we embark on this exciting adventure across different generations, collective memories and cultures.
