Kaczmarczik Lecture: Making Physics Viral

Thursday, March 12, 2026

12:00 PM-1:30 PM

The Kaczmarczik Lecture is a significant event at Drexel University. For nearly 30 years, guest lecturers have included renowned scientists from around the world who present on topics that range from mapping the universe to revolutions in fundamental physics.

On March 12, 2026, we proudly welcome Tatiana Erukhimova, PhD, who has become a viral sensation at Texas A&M University. Professor Erukhimova will showcase some of her most exciting physics demonstrations – many of which you can easily try at home! Get ready for clouds and magic bubbles, liquid oxygen and frozen erasers, levitating trains and floating toilet paper, spinning wheels, potato physics, and much more.

And none of it is magic – it’s physics!

You may RSVP to join our waitlist. This event is free and open to the public.
