Tuesday, March 5, 2024

4:00 PM-5:00 PM

With Dan Driscoll, MA, Coordinator of Writing Curriculum Initiatives for the University Writing Program and Teaching Professor of English in the College of Arts and Sciences

Description: This workshop will provide a model for abstract writing that can be adapted to meet the needs of various disciplines and projects. Students will be able to begin drafting an abstract—or work on an existing draft—during the session.

Please note that some programs/departments/disciplines may have specific guidance on or requirements for abstract writing. This session is meant to provide general, interdisciplinary guidance in accordance with the requirements for submission to the annual Drexel Emerging Graduate Scholars (DEGS) Conference.

The session will be recorded and shared with registrants, as well as posted to the DEGS Conference website for later viewing
