Harry Potter™ at The Franklin Institute: Alumni Talk and Tour

Step into the Wizarding World with Drexel alumni and friends as Harry Potter™ comes to the Franklin Institute!
Guests will enjoy a talk from Deirdre McMahon, PhD,
teaching professor of english in Drexel’s College of Arts and Sciences, about what
it takes to build a fantasy and the ethical forces of good. Then, head to the exhibit which celebrates the iconic moments, characters, settings
and beasts as seen in the films and stories of Harry Potter™ and the Wizarding World. Visitors will get an up-close look at authentic props
and original costumes from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts™ films as they engage with innovative, awe-inspiring and magical environments and installations.
Registration includes a boxed lunch which you can eat in one of the café spaces within the museum.
All ages are welcome to attend, however the talk's content is geared towards people ages 11 and older.
