Richardson Dilworth, a co-author of the upcoming book on Drexel history, will place the Hagerty presidency in the larger context of Drexel’s history and his lasting legacy at the university. Dilworth will also place Drexel in the context of Philadelphia, to understand the larger impact that Hagerty had on the city.

At this event, the Libraries will unveil a Cake Boss cake of the W. W. Hagerty Library building in celebration of what would have been President Hagerty's 100th birthday. Cake will be served at the conclusion of the talk.
