Minor in History

A minor in History enriches almost every major. With a minor in History, you can hone your analytical and critical thinking skills and take your understanding of history and research methodology to your major field.

History combines very well with Economics, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Public Health, Political Science, Anthropology, Communications, or Education.

To complete a History minor, the following are required:

  • 3 Required Political Science Courses (Choose from Themes in World Civilization or American History.)
  • 5 Elective History Courses (Choose from any HIST courses at the 200-level or higher, including Special Topics courses.)

To discuss adding a History minor to your college plan, email Lauren Farmer at laf95@drexel.edu.
