Navigating Microaggressions in the Clinical Space:(MORE)
June 4, 2024 at 12p-1p ET
Via Live Webcast

It is not so much a question of “if” microaggressions will occur in our clinical work, but “when.” As healthcare professionals, it is essential to prepare for these situations and consider how we will navigate when microaggressions present themselves from our clients, their families, our colleagues, or even ourselves. A panel discussion with professionals representing the fields of nursing, physical therapy and creative arts therapy will explore ways they have navigated microaggressions, the impact microaggressions can have within the professional space and strategies for disrupting and repairing.
