Power Over Pain Program Seeks Participants

April 5, 2018

Power over PainPain is a very complex condition that changes neurological structures and is influenced by biological, behavioral, environmental and societal factors. Developed at the Stephen and Sandra Sheller 11th Street Family Health Services, Power over Pain is an interdisciplinary approach to educate and empower people with pain. Power over Pain addresses health and wellness from physical, mental and social platforms to provide group members with the best evidence-based tools and education to manage their pain and lead fuller lives.

A group is now forming and looking for participants to start this eight-week pyschoeducational program. Through this process participants will learn all about pain and how to manage it in a supportive environment.
