Drexel University’s Alumni Weekend kicked off on May 3 with a special 50-year reunion for the Class of 1963. Nursing alumnae from the then Hahnemann Hospital Training School for Nurses took the “tour of a lifetime” of Drexel’s Hahnemann University Hospital. The group of ten alumnae visited the emergency room, the oncology floor and the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital. They recalled stories of working on the floor and chatted with present day student nurses working in the hospital. The group completed their tour with a visit to the Center for Interdisciplinary Clinical Simulation, where they were able to see the Standardized Patient Lab and the Human Patient Lab.
