WPVI-TV (6abc) featured “Defeat Diabetes” class at Drexel’s 11th Street Family Health Services June 22, 2011 On June 22, 2011, WPVI-TV (6abc) featured the “Defeat Diabetes” class held for patients at Drexel’s 11th Street Family Health Services, a health center run by the College of Nursing and Health Professions. The class was part of a research program to test the value of exercise to help people with diabetes improve their blood sugar levels and other health indicators.
