Nursing Foundation of Pennsylvania Awards Nursing Scholarships to three Drexel students

Nursing Foundation of Pennsylvania (NFP) announced the winners of the 2011 Pauline Thompson Nursing Education Scholarship. The fund awards $1,000 individual scholarships to nursing students that exemplify academic achievement, leadership and community service. Among eight winners, the NFP awarded $1,000 scholarships to three Drexel nursing students, Colleen Brophy, Barbara Lee and Brittany Moldover.
The Pauline Thompson scholarship fund was established by PA State Nurses Association (PSNA) staff and friends in memory of Pauline Thompson, mother of PSNA’s former executive administrator, Jessie Rohrer, DrPH, RN. NFP is the proud steward of this fund. These recipients were honored at the PSN) and NFP Awards Ceremony on October 27, 2011 at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.
