Drexel Represented at Nurses for Tomorrow Forum

Drexel’s College of Nursing and Health Professions was well represented at the Nurses for Tomorrow: Innovative approaches for leading and learning forum on Thursday, October 6, hosted by Independence Blue Cross at the WHYY studios in Philadelphia. Patricia Gerrity, associate dean for community programs and director of the 11th Street Family Health Services Center, moderated a panel discussion: Looking Ahead – Nursing in 2020, How innovation in nursing education can support the future. Panelists included Beverly Malone, chief executive officer, National League for Nursing and Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation Faculty Scholar Roberta Waite, associate professor and assistant dean of academic integration and evaluation of community programs.
