Maria Irrera-Newcomb, MSN, is an assistant clinical professor in nursing and a board-certified family nurse practitioner. With over 20 years of clinical experience, her clinical career has focused on the primary care of the underserved. She received a master’s degree in 1998 from the University of Pennsylvania. Her clinical practice continues at the Stephen and Sandra Sheller 11th Street Family Health Services of Drexel University.
