After earning his BS in Technology from Pittsburg State University, Chris Dellasega received his MS in Exercise Science from the University of Kansas.
Dellasega is a sports performance specialist with experience working with Olympic-level track cyclists and current and former professional athletes from the NFL, MLB, NBA and PGA. He has served as a strength and conditioning specialist for USA Cycling, where he helped coach multiple athletes to national and international medals, including four world records and a silver and gold medal at the World Championships. He currently works as a strength and conditioning specialist across USA Cycling’s Track, Road, Mountain Biking, Cyclocross and BMX programs.
Before joining Drexel, Dellasega owned and managed a private training facility before serving as the director of internal education for several high-end sports performance centers in Michigan. Additionally, he taught for a continuing education provider, offering basic and advanced strength and conditioning techniques to strength coaches and personal trainers worldwide.

Research Interests
Dellasega’s scholarly and research interest is elite performance, with a focus on kinetics and adaptations to resistance training. He is also interested in factors that influence high performance, including sports nutrition and nutraceuticals.
