Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship and Innovation

MS Entre Innovation

The Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship and Innovation combines a rigorous, engineering education in the College of Engineering with the pioneering program in entrepreneurship and innovation in the Close School of Entrepreneurship. Majors in the Bachelor of Science in entrepreneurship and innovation program will embark on a unique education experience, which includes:

  • A strong grounding in the foundations of engineering, in quantitative skills, and in the analytic processes that engineers use in design of practical technology
  • Interdisciplinary coursework that spans every facet of the university, including law, business, entrepreneurship, teaching, communications, public health, philosophy, environmental studies, and more.
  • Cultivation of entrepreneurship and innovation skills that are applicable in business, personal, and career contexts, such as, learning from failure, resilience, collaboration, negotiation, communication, and recognizing opportunity.
  • Experiential learning.

The Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship and Innovation is designed solely as a dual degree program in conjunction with the Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Non-dual-degree students interested in a degree in entrepreneurship should enroll in the Bachelor of Arts in Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
