Silicon Valley Immersion Trip

Background

The Close School of Entrepreneurship is proud to announce a return to Silicon Valley in 2018. Our immersion to the San Fran area is a high-level, high-impact experience open to all Close School students. This immersion trip compliments our academic programming and opens an experiential channel to developing the individual as entrepreneur and the process of entrepreneurship.

Program Dates

3 Days, 4 Nights

Sunday, March 25, 2018 at 5pm to Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 5pm

Program Details

Our trip will include onsite visits to startups and established companies. The visits will include presentations from founders and senior executives who will talk about their personal journey as well as their companies. In addition, we will network with these individuals as well as influential Drexel alum in the San Francisco and Silicon Valley areas.

Deliverables

Students will attend a pre-trip meeting where details of the immersion, including expectations, departure/return info and other key areas are confirmed. In addition, students will receive details on the site visits and bios on key personnel.

Costs

Students are responsible for airfare to and from San Francisco, as well as the hotel stay in San Francisco.  The Close School will confirm the hotel in January, but costs will range from $150-$200 per night.

Students will determine the best travel to and from San Francisco. For example, students can travel by air, train or car. The Close School will cover all meals and ground transportation from Monday, March 25 to Wednesday, March 28th. Total student costs are determined by the choice of travel to and from San Francisco, but an ESTIMATED total costs of the trip are $1,000 to $2,000 per student.
