Dean's Student Advisory Council
The purpose of the Dean’s Student Advisory Council is to foster positive discussion with the Close School’s Dean on strategic initiatives, such as recruitment, retention, and trends in entrepreneurship studies; and to foster a cohesive and ethical Close School culture.
The Dean's Student Advisory Council (DSAC) comprises one undergraduate student representative from each class (first-year through senior) in the BA in Entrepreneurship & Innovation program, and one student from any class in the BS in Sustainability & Innovation program.
The Council meets once per quarter in fall, winter, and spring quarters. Discussion items often focus on upcoming events within the Close School, building a sense of community, and sharing student ideas with the Dean.
DSAC members are selected each fall quarter for one academic year.
