DragonCard Services Relocated to MacAlister Hall
DragonCard Services recently relocated their University City office to MacAlister Hall (3250 Chestnut Street). The new DragonCard Services office entrance is visible and accessible from Chestnut Street. Guests can enter from the Creese Student Center patio behind LaScala’s FIRE. The former office in Creese Student Center near Behrakis Grand Hall is now closed.
The Drexel DragonCard is the official Drexel University identification card for students, faculty, staff and other campus community members. It’s a community member’s ‘key’ to campus services, including access to academic buildings, the Drexel Recreation Center, Drexel Libraries and parking facilities in University City.
And Now for the Perks:
Our team is always asked about area discounts they can receive with their card. Here are a few resources we like to share:
- Community members who load their card with DragonDollars may utilize their DragonCard to pay for purchases at participating retailers, including vending machines and Micro Markets on the University City Campus, and many of the participating retailers extend special discounts. We’ve provided a few discounts that we know of on the Business Services website, but you can always ask a business if they have any discounts available if you show your card.
- Your DragonCard grants you complimentary individual general admission to the Academy of Natural Sciences at Drexel University.
- Campus Philly is a great resource for discounts that may be available beyond campus.
Besides issuing new cards and trouble-shooting card access inquiries, the DragonCard Services office provides passport photo service and sells SEPTA Key Cards.
DragonCard Services, located at 3250 Chestnut Street, will operate from Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Appointments are not required; however, information regarding reducing wait times for your first DragonCard by uploading your photo ahead of time is available on the DragonCard website. Hours of operation will vary during University Holidays and term breaks.
