City View Lounge Opens to Faculty and Staff Monday, Jan. 9

Drexel Business Services is excited to announce the opening of the City View Lounge, a dedicated rest and collaborative space exclusively for Drexel faculty and professional staff.

The City View Lounge on the 6th Floor of MacAlister Hall (in the former University Club) is open to faculty and professional staff with a valid DragonCard during the same hours as MacAlister Hall, typically 8 a.m. – 11 p.m. during academic terms, beginning Monday, Jan. 9, 2023, at 8 a.m.

The City View Lounge will feature the following:

• A Self-Service Market called Avenue C (to open winter term), which will feature:
  • A variety of fresh foods, including salads, sandwiches, wraps, and other grab-and-go items
  • Take-and-heat entrees (microwaves are available in the market)
  • Hot brewed La Colombe coffee
  • A traditional candy and snack selection
  The best part? If the lounge is open, the market is open! Avenue C accepts payment through Canteen’s Connect and Pay app, and will accept credit and debit cards.
• Pret A Manger lunch pre-order and delivery: Order lunch by 10 a.m. from the full Pret menu via the GET Portal or GET Mobile App (iOS | Android), and your order will be delivered directly to the lounge by 11:30 a.m. to the designated pick-up area.
• To-go Meals from the Handschumacher Dining Center: The Hans offers nine culinary stations, including comfort food, grill favorites, halal and dessert, to name a few. You can take the elevator from The Hans to the sixth floor of MacAlister Hall where the lounge is.
