BIOMED T-shirt Contest 2024

Win a $150 gift card to Drexel’s Barnes & Noble Bookstore by designing the new School of Biomedical Engineering t-shirt! Submit your creative design for the shirt, and it will be printed and distributed to all the new students at our welcome week party in September.

  • To be eligible for the t-shirt design contest and the grand prize, the entrant must be a first-term freshmen or transfer student in the School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems and be enrolled full-time (12+ credits) in the fall term of the upcoming academic year.
  • The School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems reserves the right to void prize if entrant is not registered as a full-time student as of Monday of the second week of the upcoming fall term.
  • The School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems has the right to print the design on t-shirts and other marketing materials as they see fit once they are submitted by the entrant.
  • Three finalists for the t-shirt design contest will be chosen at the discretion of the School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems. These finalists' designs will then be posted online for an incoming student popular vote. The School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems reserves the right to select the winner.
  • The finalist designs will be displayed on our website and a separate link will be emailed out to new BIOMED students to vote. CHECK YOUR EMAIL OFTEN!
  • The winning design will be used as this year's BIOMED new student t-shirts and will be distributed during Welcome Week.

2024 Competition Timeline

  • Submission Deadline: Friday, July 26
  • Top 3 Finalists Announced: Wednesday, July 31
  • Voting Period: August 1 - 6
  • Winner Announced: Welcome Week

Design Specifications

  • Must be a 1 color design for 1 side of the shirt.
  • Include the words "BIOMED or School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems." May use logo, but not required.
  • Submitted in high quality vector or JPG formats.
  • Each student is eligible to submit up to 2 designs.
