Introduction to Supporting Neurodivergent Learners in Job Training Programs

This introductory training provides workforce and youth-serving organizations with practical, evidence-based strategies to effectively support learners with autism and other disabilities and strengthen inclusive practices within job training programs.

This 60-minute session, facilitated by Transition Pathways and the A.J. Drexel Autism Institute, is designed for staff who work directly with learners in workforce development programs, youth development organizations, supported employment agencies, and other organizations that provide job training services.

Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their current practices, problem-solve common challenges, and exchange ideas with facilitators and other trainees to support learning and growth. While this session is focused on supporting learners who are autistic or have another disability, the concepts and strategies discussed are beneficial for all learners.
