The A.J. Drexel Autism Institute is collaborating with
The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's Center for Autism Research (CAR)
to offer a 2- or 3-day training on the
Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2).
This workshop will be offered virtually.

Registration opens 8 weeks prior to the start of training.
These ADOS-2 training workshops provide experienced autism professionals with introductory training on
using the ADOS-2 in clinical settings across a wide range of ages, developmental levels, and language abilities.
Sessions are led by certified ADOS-2 trainers.
This is a live virtual workshop with limited space.

Requirements
- Clinicians with prior background in autism and formal testing can use the 2-day Introductory/Clinical Workshop to support diagnosis and clinical decision-making.
- Individuals with less testing experience may attend for informational purposes.
- For researchers, this workshop is a prerequisite for the Advanced/Research Reliability training required to use the ADOS-2 in research.
Note: ADOS-2 training does not replace state regulations for diagnosing autism. The ADOS-2 is designed to be one component of an autism evaluation for professionals qualified to make this diagnosis.
It is recommended (but not required) that participants have access to an ADOS-2 manual, available from Western Psychological Services (Product #: W-605M).
Course Options
Option 1: ADOS-2 Introductory / Clinical Workshop
Cost: $650
A 2-day training using lectures and video demonstrations to introduce administration and scoring of
Modules 1–4. Participants will observe and score two assessments with guidance from a certified trainer.
Option 2: ADOS-2 Introductory / Clinical Workshop + Toddler Module
Cost: $950
Includes the 2-day Introductory Workshop plus a 1-day Toddler Module session (ages 12–30 months).
Note: Completion of Days 1–2 is required to attend the Toddler Module session.

Cancellation Policy
For individuals who successfully register for training but cannot attend, please contact ASDtraining@drexel.edu. Cancellations requested more than two weeks prior to the training session will be charged a cancellation fee of $250, which will be subtracted from their refund amount. Alternatively, we can offer credit toward a future training session if the request is made more than two weeks prior to the start date of the registered training (Note: Trainees are limited to one training deferment per registration). Any cancellations requested less than two weeks prior to the start of training or no-shows will result in a forfeiture of the entire payment. We regret that we cannot provide a refund or defer payment for any cancellations made within two weeks of the training session.
