    Following the tragic attack at a concert venue in Manchester, UK that resulted in 22 deaths and many injuries, the UK government has raised its threat warning from substantial to critical. Drexel did not have any known travelers in Manchester and has reached out to travelers in the UK, encouraging proactive safety and security measures. The Office of International Programs is actively monitoring updates from the UK.

    The US Department of State has issued a Travel Alert for Europe, highlighting the continuing risk of terrorist attacks in European countries, especially in the upcoming months when summer travel to Europe is high. Drexel travelers to Europe should review the alert and register their travel in STEP.
