Student Conference on Global Challenges

The Annual Student Conference on Global Challenges, held since 2008, offers students opportunities to share their research and engage in critical reflection and dialogue around a major global challenge theme such as water, urban spaces, gender, and energy and the environment. The day-long program of six student panels, moderated by faculty members, is punctuated by keynote speakers and numerous opportunities for student engagement and networking. This unique event is the only one of its kind on Drexel's campus and attracts undergraduate and graduate student panelists and audience participants from across the university and community at large. Over 6,000 individuals have participated since 2008 and the conference continues to grow each year. The 2023 conference was held virtually on Symposium, a conference website platform.
