Gabriela Constantin-Dureci

Gabriela Constantin-Dureci has been working as a Spanish language instructor for almost ten years, teaching general and specialized language and Linguistics courses at several higher education institutions in the U.S. Northeast. As an educator, she adopts intersectional and critical language pedagogy approaches, and celebrates linguistic diversity in the classroom. In addition to her teaching, she has conducted research on combatting linguistic bias and discrimination in the language classroom that has been presented at national conferences.

Constantin-Dureci earned an MFA in Creative Writing in Spanish from New York University, an MA in Applied Linguistics from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Ph.D. in Spanish/Bilingualism and Second Language Acquisition from Rutgers University-New Brunswick.
