PURPOSE AND APPLICATION
Latin Honors awarded at graduation represent high student achievement through a student’s undergraduate career at Drexel University.
STATEMENT OF POLICY
All undergraduate students, whether full-time or part-time, on campus or online who have earned a minimum of 75 institutional (not transfer) credits and have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher are eligible to receive Latin Honors at commencement and on their transcripts.
GPA requirements for honors by categories are:
- Cum Laude 3.500-3.699
- Magna Cum Laude 3.700-3.899
- Summa Cum Laude 3.900-4.000

Undergraduate students
NOTES / CONSIDERATIONS
Latin Honors do not apply to graduate students.
PROCESS
The graduation honors designation is applied effective the term in which a student graduates. The designation is entered on the final transcript and is noted in the following University commencement publication.
