Sujoy Das, PhD, is responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of the Office of Institutional Research, Assessment and Accreditation. In his role as Vice Provost, Das provides leadership in the areas of institutional research; internal and external data reporting related to compliance of federal and state agencies, as well as various ranking organizations; decision support; survey research and analytics to aid University’s Strategic Plan; and accreditation and program evaluation efforts. He also serves on the President’s Cabinet and the Executive Council as well the CORE implementation team of the Drexel 2030 Strategic Plan.

Biography

Das previously served as the Interim Vice Provost and Assistant Vice Provost for Strategic Institutional Analytics at Drexel. As Assistant Vice Provost, he performed applied research and supported the University primarily in the area of advanced statistical analysis, guiding and supporting strategic planning initiatives and resource allocation at Drexel. He also helped to advance, enhance and support the data-informed decision-making culture throughout the Drexel community.

Before joining Drexel, Das served as Vice President with Maguire Associates, a private, research-based consulting firm specializing in higher education, where he spent a decade as an enrollment management analytics specialist and consultant.

Das holds a PhD and MA in Economics from Clark University, and a MSc and BSc from the University of Calcutta.
