
Drexel has four choral ensembles sponsored by the Department of Performing Arts: All-College Choir, Chamber Singers, Gospel Choir, and the University Chorus.

Chamber Music is a class offered for piano, strings, winds and brass, for students interested in playing in small instrumental ensembles.
The Drexel Concert Band comprises over 70 musicians from across the university, and is the premier concert band ensemble within the Department of Performing Arts.
The Drexel University Experimental Music Ensemble focuses on music making through improvisational structures, sonic explorations, modal music, irregular time signatures, and aleatoric (chance) processes.

The Fusion Band is an advanced performance ensemble exploring a variety of musical styles and genres including Funk, Reggae, Salsa, Samba, Afro-Cuban, and World Music.

The Instrumental Jazz Ensemble consist of two groups: the Jazz Orchestra and the Jazztet. Acceptance is by audition only.

The Drexel University Mediterranean Ensemble is open to any student with an interest in performing music from Southern Europe, the Middle East, and Northern Africa.

The Drexel Pep Band performs at home Drexel Men's and Women's Basketball games, travels to post-season tournament games, and are an integral part of the team Spirit.

The Drexel Percussion Ensemble bring together the ethnic with the orchestral, and the ancient with the modern in percussion instrument applications.

Students have the opportunity to gain experience rehearsing, arranging, organizing, recording, and ultimately performing songs in the rock/pop/contemporary genres.

The Drexel University Symphony Orchestra is a full symphony orchestra comprised of strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion and perform a concert at the end of each quarter.
